Integrity and Superior Counsel Our
firm does little or no advertising. The founding attorneys Gary Schenk and Fred Boncher have built
a reputation for the firm of having superior judgment and being smart and effective advocates and representatives for
their clients. The firm survives and continues to grow by maintaining that reputation.
Large Firm Resources and Experience Schenk,
Boncher & Rypma has the same resources as the large downtown firms with an extensive law library, experienced support
staff, and cutting edge online legal resources. The attorneys at Schenk, Boncher & Rypma welcome and are comfortable in litigation against large firms and
in the courts across Michigan. SBR attorneys bring varied backgrounds and experience together but have overlap
in their experience as well. This overlapping of spheres of experience provides several advantages over other
firms. First, SBR can handle larger cases as well as smaller cases with the same expertise and dedication. Second, the firm's
culture provides for a second opinion and sounding board within the firm for new ideas and approaches during your
representation. as well as the federal and state appellate courts. Third, it allows SBR
to tap the collective experiences of several attorneys with a slightly different viewpoint which assures its clients that
the arguments and strategies utilized on their behalf are well-conceived. For transactional and banking
work similar advantages exist since the collective intellect and experiences can be brought to bear with resulting superior
work.
Small Firm Low Price
The firm's size, resources, and the experience of its attorneys also provide cost savings to SBR clients
as work can be delegated effectively and in a low-cost manner by using personnel resources efficiently.
Our administrative staff is experienced and often performs "paralegal" level work without charge
that would be billed to clients in other firms. The result is effective representation at lower prices than the
market would otherwise suggest. In addition, for its litigation clients, SBR takes
on a high percentage of cases on a contingency fee basis where clients only pay for the litigation costs and nothing
for attorney representation.
Convenience and Communication
Schenk, Boncher & Rypma is conveniently located where the major arteries of US 131 (north/south) and
I-96 (east/west) intersect just north of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. The office is located only a few hundred yards
from the off-ramp at Alpine. Since it is not downtown, clients avoid
the hassle and expense of downtown parking, yet it is close enough to get to the downtown courts in the same time as attorneys
situated downtown. The convenience of the physical location is equalled
by the convenience of communicating with your attorney or attorneys at SBR. Attorneys make themselves available by phone,
email and fax and often questions from clients can be answered quickly by an attorney's personal adminstrative staff member
who are involved and knowledgeable about your case or matter.
